Seventh time in RESPECT Index for Grupa Azoty

Having satisfied the RESPECT project's exacting criteria and requirements, Grupa Azoty has again qualified as a constituent of the project's index. This is the seventh appearance of the Tarnów-based company in the index, which means that Grupa Azoty has been a constant presence in the project since its inception in 2009.

Establishment of the Grupa Azoty Council – Another step in the consolidation process

As part of its ongoing consolidation process, Grupa Azoty has established the Grupa Azoty Council, the responsibilities of which will include advising, issuing opinions and initiating various improvement measures.

More Contracts with Brazil

In early December, as part of its contract negotiations for the coming years, Grupa Azoty entered into a series of trade agreements with Comexport of Sao Paulo, worth a total of PLN 360m.

LOTOS and Grupa Azoty in PLN 12bn joint Polish petrochemical project

On December 3rd 2013, Grupa LOTOS S.A. and Grupa Azoty S.A. signed an agreement on the future formation of a special purpose vehicle to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study on the construction of a new petrochemical complex, in the vicinity of both LOTOS and Grupa Azoty's existing installations.
