Economist and manager with over 20 years of experience in managing, restructuring and financing businesses, and providing strategic advisory services.
He has extensive expertise in developing management systems for companies and corporate groups, and crafting management structures, corporate strategies, and reporting systems. He is skilled in implementing controlling and budgeting practices, managing debt restructuring and refinancing, and has a deep understanding of change management. His experience also includes overseeing investment projects, including mergers and acquisitions within the chemical industry.
He graduated from the Institute of Economics of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Catholic University of Lublin. He completed his doctoral studies at the Collegium of Management and Finance at the Warsaw School of Economics. He graduated the Advanced Management Program at IESE Business School, University of Navarra, Barcelona.
In 2019–2024, he held managerial positions in companies specialising in the fields of biotechnology and modern technological solutions, leveraging artificial intelligence, cloud solutions, and IT infrastructure. Since 2016, he has been actively involved as a business adviser and investor, focusing on creating and managing startups, developing business structures for investment groups, and managing fund investments.
In 2009–2016, he served as Vice President of Grupa Azoty S.A. overseeing the finance area, including responsibilities in IT, M&A, strategic research, and investor relations. He played an active role in building the Grupa Azoty Group as a member of committees contributing to defence strategies against hostile takeovers and the consolidation and integration of chemical companies within the expanded group. In 2015, he successfully implemented a cash-pooling system within the Grupa Azoty Group and helped consolidate its bank debt with a bank syndicate.
Previously served as President of the Management Board and acting CEO at Sanfarm Sp. z o.o., where he led the company’s reorganisation process, overseeing finance, production, technology, and quality control.
In 2004–2008, he held managerial positions in the ACP PHARMA/ORPHE Group. Manager and business advisor with more than 20 years of experience in finance and operational management of companies. He brings extensive experience working across such industries as industrial construction, chemicals, public utility power generation, and manufacturing.
For over a decade, he has been involved in the power generation and construction industries working for the listed companies Energomontaż Północ and Polimex Mostostal. At both companies, he was in charge of controlling and managing all financial matters, initially as head of controlling and later chief financial officer and director of the energy and chemicals segment office.
He took part in establishing the Energy and Chemicals Segment, which was formed from companies set up by Polimex-Mostostal in the areas of energy, maintenance, assembly, chemicals and environmental protection. The project involved workforce restructuring and optimisation of procedures and processes. A uniform controlling system was implemented and the unit’s structure was streamlined. Within the unit, he led the finance, HR, IT and administrative teams.
From 2014, also within Polimex Mostostal, he was in charge of divestments, asset management and corporate supervision of the group companies, frequently as a supervisory board member. He also served as President of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer at the group companies and as the liquidator of foreign (Hungary, Lithuania, Germany) and domestic (Polimex Design Centre in Gliwice, and more) companies.
Since 2018, he has been working closely with a Warsaw restructuring law firm, where he supports processes in the areas of finance and strategy as part of projects and proceedings conducted by the firm (including business consulting, business valuation, conducting restructuring and bankruptcy cases, lectures, training and issuing expert opinions in finance and management).
In January 2020, he obtained licenses from the Ministry of Justice as a Restructuring Advisor and Insolvency Receiver. Moreover, in July 2022, he earned the title of Qualified Restructuring Advisor, enabling him to manage bankruptcy and restructuring cases for businesses with a substantial turnover and workforce. In September 2021, he was listed as an expert witness in economics, management and business valuation.
