Changes in the Supervisory Board and Management Board of Grupa Azoty Polyolefins S.A.

On February 14, 2024, Mr. Grzegorz Kądzielawski resigned from the Supervisory Board and from his role as a Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Grupa Azoty Polyolefins S.A. On February 14, 2024, Mr. Marek Wadowski resigned from his membership in the Management Board and from his role as a Vice-president of the Management Board of the Company Grupa Azoty Polyolefins S.A.

Estimated effect of non-cash non-recurring events on consolidated and separate financial statements for 2023

On 9 February 2024, Grupa Azoty S.A. published a current report in which it announced that in the course of work on the preparation of the full-year consolidated financial statements for the financial year 2023 indications of impairment of the assets of Grupa Azoty Polyolefins S.A., with an effect on the value of Grupa Azoty S.A.’s assets, were identified.

Hyundai Engineering submits another proposal to postpone Polimery Police completion date. The new plant is already producing polypropylene and propylene on a continuous basis.

On 2 February 2024, at the registered office of Grupa Azoty Polyolefins, the General Contractor submitted a change proposal to the turn-key contract for the execution of the Polimery Police project, as announced by Grupa Azoty S.A. in a current report.

1 February 2024 will see the start of Grupa Azoty’s seventh customer lottery “We Care for the Polish Land”, which this time will be held under the slogan “The Best for the Best.” Among this year’s prizes is a John Deere 5090M tractor.

Polymers Police in preparation for the integrity test, are already producing propylene and polypropylene and are selling to an authorized distribution network and direct customers

Products manufactured at the Police plant have passed the tests and are available for sale. As planned, the Company's product portfolio is being expanded until it reaches the target production of more than 30 types of Gryfilen® polypropylene, including homopolymers, random copolymers and impact copolymers. The introduction of new product types is taking place gradually, according to a planned schedule, as positive product validation is achieved, both on the production side and processing validation at customers' sites.

Grupa Azoty Group concludes first edition of Hydrogen Academy programme

Grupa Azoty S.A., Grupa Azoty Zakłady Chemiczne Police S.A., Grupa Azoty Polyolefins S.A. and Port Morski Police Sp. z o.o., as the initiators of the West Pomeranian Hydrogen Valley, are collaborating on activities focused on establishing and developing a hydrogen economy, particularly in the Province of Szczecin. The signatories are committed to creating favourable conditions for businesses involved in advancing a hydrogen economy and hydrogen-supported energy optimisation in the region. As part of the West Pomeranian Hydrogen Valley project, the unique Hydrogen Academy project has been established as a joint venture between the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin and Grupa Azoty Police.
