Grupa Azoty Police gains access to low-cadmium phosphate rock
Grupa Azoty Police has signed a contract that gives it access to low-cadmium phosphate rock deposits until 2021. On February 5th 2019, in Switzerland, a trilateral contract was signed between Grupa Azoty Police as the buyer, Ameropa AG as the seller, and Somiva SA as the producer. The Polish company was represented by Wojciech Wardacki and Włodzimierz Zasadzki, President and Vice-President of the Grupa Azoty Police Management Board.

Academic Ambassadors selected
Grupa Azoty has selected candidates to the second edition of the ‘Ambassador of Grupa Azoty Brand’ programme. The new Ambassadors are: Agnieszka Szymaszek (AGH University of Science and Technology of Kraków), Jakub Sakowski
(West Pomeranian University of Technology of Szczecin), Rafał Pater (Warsaw University of Technology) and Natalia Barteczko (Silesian University of Technology). There are plenty of challenges ahead and a lot of creative work
for the Ambassadors. The best ones will receive attractive awards, including a paid internship at the Grupa Azoty Group.

Grupa Azoty Group announces third quarter 2018 results
The Grupa Azoty Group recorded EBITDA of PLN 44m for the third quarter of 2018 on revenue of PLN 2.32bn. EBITDA fell PLN 211m year on year despite revenue having increased almost PLN 130m, which demonstrates that fluctuations
in the Group’s 2018 performance continue to be largely driven by costs. Year-to-date EBITDA came in at PLN 573m, with revenue at PLN 7.2bn and EBITDA margin at 8%, compared with 13.7% for the first nine months of 2017.

Grupa Azoty opens R&D Centre
Today, in the presence of government officials headed by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Grupa Azoty opened its new Research and Development Centre in Tarnów. Constructed over 14 months, the Centre will accommodate research facilities, supporting the delivery of innovative solutions.Its effective use by Grupa Azoty will allow it to build competitive advantages and boost the flow of innovation into its business.
