was awarded in the Forbes ranking of the best chairmen of the companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Those above-mentioned are the newest awards won in 7th edition of the Polish Forum gathering the Management Boards of the Companies Listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange which took place from 10th until 11th April this year in Wrocław.
The Polish Forum of the Management Boards of the Companies Listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange is the unique event which serves as some sort of the platform for the exchange of opinions and discussions with the group of people, the institutions which supervise and form the capital market, representatives of the government, the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the companies listed on the WSE as well as the Polish and foreign experts of the market. Prepared in a brand new formula – in cooperation with Forbes – the event was a great opportunity to reward the best. The awards were given in five categories: banks, raw materials, infrastructure, industry and construction, the consumer companies. The awards went to the best, the most rapidly and dynamically developing companies listed on the WSE, chosen on the basis of the rate of increase in income, assets, capitals, profitability ratios and results gained during the past three years. In this year’s forum Jerzy Marciniak, the Chairman of Grupa Azoty S.A. Management Board, took part who both as the participant and the guest not only could have shared his experience and knowledge but also was the one who received the certificate and the statuette for Grupa Azoty S.A. with the first place in the ranking of the most dynamically developing companies prepared by Forbes as well as the prize for Jerzy Marciniak in the ranking of the best chairmen of the companies listed on the WSE. In the framework of this year’s edition of the forum, the achievements of the companies and managers in 2012 were summed up.
