Grupa Azoty S.A. and Grupa Azoty POLICE were again included in the prestigious list.

The ranking is compiled by the European Business Institute based primarily on the criteria of financial standing and value growth. The list is regularly updated, which gives market observers a full picture of the ongoing market development.

In July 2016, InfoCredit, a commercial intelligence agency, provided the European Business Institute with financial data of 34,705 businesses, including 380 chemical companies. The analysis covered companies which in 2013 and 2014 posted over PLN 500 thousand in net revenue, more than PLN 10 thousand in net profit and positive equity. Then, the European Business Institute calculated their market value as at the end of March 2014 and end of March 2015 by comparing their results with the valuations of joint-stock companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and changes in the market value. Based on these calculations as well as information from the National Court Register gathered by InfoCredit by mid-July 2016, the ranking of Business Cheetahs 2015 was compiled. 

In the chemical industry, the listing included 265 enterprises, among them companies of the Grupa Azoty Group: Grupa Azoty S.A. – ranked 90th, and Grupa Azoty Police – ranked 116th.
