The Plastpol Medal was granted to Grupa Azoty S.A. for Tarnamid® (PA), the product with antibacterial and antifungal properties. The production of such specialist polyamide is an effect of co-operation of technologists from Grupa Azoty with scientists from the Jagiellonian University.

The Plastpol distinction was granted to Grupa Azoty Kędzierzyn for Oxoviflex™ - the non-phthalate plasticizer. Oxoviflex™ is an innovative product, one of the most advanced general purpose plasticizers. Oxoviflex™ is an effect of co-operation between technologists from Grupa Azoty Kędzierzyn and scientists from the Instytut Ciężkiej Syntezy Organicznej ‘Blachownia’ (Institute of Heavy Organic Synthesis ‘Blachownia’). 

“ The awards granted to our products have the highest value for us, as they are awarded by a group of most prominent scientists from leading Polish universities,” commented Małgorzata Malec, Director of the Plastics Business Unit in Grupa Azoty S.A.

Moreover, Grupa Azoty’s Fair stand gained recognition for elegance and innovative style of fair exhibition, thereby was awarded with a medal of Plastpol Fair.

Lest we forget, the International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing Plastpol is the biggest business event of the plastics industry in this part of Europe. Year after year, hundreds of exhibitors from around the globe gather in this one particular place. This year, the 19th edition of the Plastpol Fair, beat the record in the number of exhibitors.
