A white fine-milled powder with a rutile crystallographic structure, nontoxic, non-flammable and chemically inactive. Subjected to surface treatment with aluminium compounds (1% as Al₂O₃) and modified with hydrophobic organic compounds.With its unique physical and chemical properties, TYTANPOL^® RS has excellent processing qualities when pigmenting plastics. Due to its low moisture content, it can be processed in high temperatures without creating problems and does not  cause lacing in plastic film . Thanks to its relatively small particle size  and the specific nature of  its surface it ensures exceptionally easy wetting and dispersibility in polymer matrix. It has good optical properties (pigmented products have a high level brightness, a neutral tint and opacity).This pigment type is moderately weather resistant.
