Grupa Azoty to donate PLN 1 million to organisations supporting Ukrainian war refugees
In connection with what is happening in Ukraine, companies of the Grupa Azoty Group are taking a number of initiatives to support Ukrainian refugees fleeing the war. The relief efforts of all state-owned enterprises are being coordinated by the Polish Ministry of State Assets and Ministry of the Interior and Administration.

Grupa Azoty after a meeting with farmer organisations
The current situation on the fertilizer market was among the topics discussed by representatives of Grupa Azoty with Marian Sikora, President of the Federation of Agricultural Producer Associations, and Stanisław Kacperczyk, President of the Polish Association of Grain Producers. At the meeting, Zbigniew Paprocki, Member of the Management Board and CEO of Grupa Azoty S.A., said that the adverse conditions prevailing on the fertilizer market stem from the gas crisis in Europe, that is record-high gas costs, which have risen by several hundred per cent year on year and directly translate into the current fertilizer production cost levels.

Fifth edition of Grupa Azoty’s ‘We care for the Polish land’ lottery
Another edition of Grupa Azoty’s customer lottery, in which the grand prize is a John Deere 5075E tractor, has just been launched. The aim is, among other things, to give farmers an opportunity to win one of the over three hundred prizes as a token of appreciation for choosing Grupa Azoty fertilizer products.

ORLEN Paliwa wants to build new LPG terminal at sea port in Police using Grupa Azoty Polyolefins’ infrastructure
ORLEN Paliwa, Zarząd Morskiego Portu Police and Grupa Azoty Polyolefins have signed a letter of intent concerning potential construction by ORLEN Paliwa of an LPG terminal on the premises of the sea port in Police. The cooperation would involve use of the wharf currently being built by Grupa Azoty Polyolefins for the Polimery Police project.

Further to rumours circulated by one of the trade unions as to alleged plans to dissolve leading Companies of the Grupa Azoty Group, i.e. Grupa Azoty Puławy, Grupa Azoty Police and Grupa Azoty Kędzierzyn, we firmly deny that the newly adopted Strategy of the Grupa Azoty Group includes any dissolution plans regarding those companies or any resulting staff lay-off plans. We regard such rumours as harmful fake news and we urge everyone to refrain from spreading them. Doing so could trigger unrest at the Companies concerned and cause unnecessary anxiety among our staff.
