Product description:

Fertilizer of uniform light-grey to dark-grey granules, grain class 2-5 mm, at least 92%. Granules coated, without permanent caking characteristics. Bulk density: 0.95-1.05 kg/dm3.

POLIMAG® S includes 10% of nitrogen (N) of nitrates, 8% of phosphorus (P2O5) soluble in neutral ammonium citrate and water, that is, available in the form of mono- and bi-ammonium phosphorus, including 7% soluble in water. The fertilizer includes 15% of potassium (K2O) soluble in water, in the form of potassium sulphate, 5% of total magnesium (MgO) in carbonate form and 35% of sulphur trioxide (SO3) soluble in water, in the form of sulphate and micro-nutrients: boron (B) 0.1%, copper (Cu) 0.1%, manganese (Mn) 0.2% and zinc (Zn) 0.5% in easily absorbed forms.

Intended use and application:

This fertilizer should be used in spring, mostly under plants which are:
very sensitive to chlorides – tobacco, redcurrant, gooseberry, raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, bilberry, drupe trees, especially the cherry tree, early vegetables, bean, cucumber, paprika, onion, lettuce, hop, all crops under covers, flower and decorative plants and seedlings of a majority of plants;
relatively sensitive to chlorides – potato, sunflower, grapevine, pome trees, blackcurrant, tomato, small radish, cabbage turnip, Brussels sprout, pea, spinach, carrot, garlic, radish and chicory.

The highest effectiveness is obtained with POLIMAG® S in spring, 10-14 days before sowing, when mixed with soil to a depth of 10-20 cm. This fertilizer may also be used early in spring, for top dressing on winter plants. Permanent crops may be fertilized in spring.

POLIMAG® S may be mixed immediately before spreading with urea, ammonium nitrate and nitro-chalk / Salmag, and with potassium sulphate at any time.

Advantages:

Ammonium nitrogen, as it is absorbed slowly by plants, contributes to their harmonious growth and development, supports absorption of phosphorus and limits excess absorption of potassium. Phosphorus in the form of ammonium phosphorus is the best available form of the element, well absorbed also where there is a deficiency of water in soil. Potassium in sulphate form is recommended in particular under plants reacting negatively to excess chlorides. High sulphate sulphur content, perfectly soluble in water, increases the immunity of plants and provides them with sulphur early in spring growth. The addition of easily soluble magnesium and the most important microelements in the initial phases improves early spring intake of nutrients in shallow-rooted plants. This chemical composition in a fertilizer results in good rooting and proper development of plants from the postemergence period and increases their strength and drought resistance. It also contributes to full blooming and uniform maturation and a faithful, high yield of outstanding biological value.

Packaging and transport:

POLIMAG® S is packaged in:
  • 25 kg ± 1% polyethylene bags with overprint;
  • Flexible containers at 500 kg ± 1% or more, the so-called big-bags.

The fertilizer must be transported while protected against water, rainfall, direct sunlight and damage to the packaging.

POLIMAG® S is not classified, i.e. it is not considered a hazardous material according to the UN Orange Book and international transport codes, for example RID (railway transport), ADR (road transport) and IMDG (sea transport).

With regard to transportation using the road vehicles of the recipient or of a carrier acting on the direct instructions of the recipient, it is the recipient or the carrier who is responsible for any deterioration in the quality of the fertilizer.

Storage:

Polyethylene bags with overprint of a net content of 50 kg should be stored in 10 layers at the most. Flexible containers of less than 500 kg in weight may be stored in piles of up to three layers, or in piles of two layers if weight exceeds 500 kg. In the case of pallet storage, loading units of up to 0.9 m in height are stored in piles of four layers, and loading units of 0.9 m to 1.8 m in height in piles of not more than 3.6 m.

The fertilizer should be stored in clean and dry warehouse buildings and protected against atmospheric conditions (solar radiation, rainwater).

In the course of transportation, handling and storage, the regulations in force should be observed.

Precautions:

In the event of irritation of skin and eyes, wash with plenty of water. Dust masks and safety goggles are recommended. If swallowed accidentally, seek medical advice. Nontoxic, odourless, non-flammable fertilizer.
